Branson Hills — STR by product type

Branson Hills is a gated golf community on the north side of Branson (Taney County), anchored by a top-ranked championship course and inside Branson city limits. STR posture is split by location within the community: the homes inside the original gates are NOT approved for nightly rental. A newer development just outside the gates — The Cabins at Magnolia Ridge, a limited 27-unit project of 2–6 bedroom cabins with completion expected summer 2026 — is being built nightly-rental friendly, with optional management or self-management; its HOA and CCRs are still being finalized, so dues and detailed rules are TBD. Because Branson Hills is inside city limits, an operating STR needs the city's annual short-term-rental license and collects the 4% tourism tax plus sales tax. Confirm rental approval and HOA terms for the specific property before underwriting STR income.
