Rockaway Beach’s biggest pro is its location. It’s right on Lake Taneycomo making it a great location for fishing and kayaking, and it’s just a few miles north of Branson. However, the area is not great. There is a lot of poverty and it’s not a very upscale and well maintained town. There are almost no amenities or attractions. Property values are lower than Branson so entry is easier, but Branson is much more desirable and I would be nervous about the quality of the experience for guests staying in Rockaway.
